Diving In The Bahamas On A Liveaboards Adventure
Discover some of the fines diving in the world. An archipelago of over 700 islands in the Atlantic Ocean, the Bahamas offers an unparalleled number of diving experiences, taking you from fascinating ship wrecks to marine caverns, deep walls and the world’s third largest barrier reef. See something unexpected and allow yourself the chance to experience some of the best shark diving in the world, with many sites offering near guaranteed interaction with many beautiful species such as Tiger Sharks, Lemon Sharks, Caribbean Reef sharks Great Hammerhead and more.
Nothing but beauty
A liveaboards trip to the Bahamas is an exceptional way to spend any amount of time. Guests typically spend between six and seven days on their trip. Diving is possible year-round with the best conditions seen between June and September when waters average a pleasant 30 degrees Celsius.
Two of the most popular diving areas are the Exuma Cays Land and Sea Park, offering eco-friendly, non-invasive diving tours based on the idea of 'take only photographs, leave only footprints'. These pristine, near-untouched waters are managed by the Bahamas National Trust, ensuring that you can return to this beautiful part of the world year after year. Guests are also invited to spend time on the romantic pink beaches of the island of Eleuthera, surrounded by ancient and vibrant reefs.
The Bahamas, Nassau and its neighbouring island of Paradise Island provide a diverse range of experiences for divers, including ship wrecks, natural phenomenon such as the Lost Blue Hole and dive sites like the famous Tiger Beach. With shallow depths, divers of all levels can find an amazing site to explore.
