Bangka Island lays just 20 minutes from the mainland of North Sulawesi and Murex Bangka is situated on a palmfringed white sand beach, offering a true Robinson Crusoe style experience. Drift away in a hammock while listening to the waves lapping on the shore; swim or snorkel in the crystal clear waters infront of the resort; explorethe ocean by paddleboard or enjoy a sun-downerwhile watching thesunset over the ocean
All rooms have ocean views. Therestaurant, dive centreand camera roomare at the heartof the resort and are also on the beach. Boats depart fromthe lagoonso you’ll neverneedto walk far to get to wherever you need. Murex Bangka is the onlyresort on Bangka Island able to offer hot water, en-suite showers and air conditioning. Power operates in the rooms from 5pm–7am and additionally in the restaurant and camera room during lunch timehours.

Getting There

Sam Ratulangi International Airport (also called Manado International Airport)is the nearest entry point and receives flights from all major Indonesian citiesincluding Bali and Jakarta as well as international flights from Singapore.MurexBangka offerairport pickups in private air-conditioned vehicles. It is around90minutes to the local harbour and then 20 minutes by boat to the resort.
