The Tetiaroa atoll is a natural jewel of the South pacific. This beautiful island presents a breathtaking turquoise blue lagoon with lush vegetation. Benefiting from a wildlife protection and preservation program, Tetiaroa is another sanctuary of biodiversity in the Pacific. During the dives, you will encounter many colorful fish in their coral habitat (triggerfish, parrotfish, surgeonfish#). You will also see big animals that frequent the external slope of the reef: white tip sharks, grey sharks, spotted eagle rays, turtles, dogtooth tuna …

Getting There

Travel from Tahiti to Tetiaroa is by private aircraft operated by Air Tetiaroa — the exclusive provider of passenger service to the island.  Air Tetiaroa operates two 6-passenger Britten Norman aircrafts, as well as one twin-otter aircraft with a capacity of 14 passengers, which depart from a private terminal at Faa’a International Airport in Tahiti.
Flights to Tahiti from Japan
Air Tahiti Nui (TN) has direct flights from Tokyo to Papeete twice per week. Flight time is 11 hours.
Flights to Tahiti from Europe
For Europeans wanting flights to Tahiti, you will need to make your way around to Los Angeles, to connect with a Tahiti flight.
Another option is to venture through Asia to Tokyo or visit New Zealand. From all these airports you can fly directly to Tahiti's International airport in Papeete with Air Tahiti Nui.
Flights to Tahiti from Australia or New Zealand
Both Air New Zealand and Air Tahiti Nui fly directly to Tahiti out of Auckland, New Zealand. Australian's just need to zip across to Auckland with Qantas, to connect to an Air Tahiti Nui flight, or fly the whole way with Air New Zealand. The flight from Auckland to Tahiti is 5 hours.

  • The Canyons

    After 20 minutes of navigation, you arrive at the site, which does not exceed the 20m of depth. It offers a maze of canyons rich in corals on the upper part where many tropical fishes take advantage of the oxygenation of the false pass. The evolution in this labyrinth offers a magnificent spectacle. Leopard rays, white-tip sharks, napoleons and barracudas are also part of the scenery.

  • Eden Park

    Arrived on site after 15 minutes of sailing, you will dive on a plateau of white sand dotted with coral reefs on which lie many colorful fish: surgeons, butterflies, clown fish, cochets5 Sunlight reflects on the sand and offers a magnificent setting . On the deepest part, between 15 and 20m, the reef stalls and offers a passage to white tip sharks, leopard rays, barracudas and other turtles ...

  • The Circus

    This site, very suitable for beginners, has a shallow depth of 15m maximum. The reef, rich in tropical fish, is arranged in an arc of a circle on a sandy bottom. This site will delight novice divers thanks to the frequent presence of turtles who come to feed and rest there.

  • Aquarium of Tetiaroa

    Located 20 minutes from the center, the site of the Aquarium is between 2 magnificent motus and offers a maximum depth of 3 meters. Perfect for baptisms and formations, the divers will evolve between the coral massifs inhabited by an incredible concentration of tropical fish: young ladies, cochets, butterflies and diodons ...

  • The Pinnacles

    This lagoon site offers massive coral reefs from the bottom around which coral has taken place to provide shelter for many twirling fish. The dive takes place at a maximum depth of 8 meters with an evolution taking place along the coral wall.
