Learn to dive on the island of Gods.
Through the SSI Open Water Diver program, you will complete the course not just with the ability to recite facts about diving, but you will have the information and know-how you need to become a diver, ready to jump in with both fins.
Once you accomplish the goal of becoming a diver, you will no longer be just a spectator. You will participate in the great undersea adventure with all its drama and magnificence — marveling at creatures both great and small, suspended effortlessly in liquid space, dazzled by a bold new world that fills your senses.
With the chance to explore a world few people ever have the opportunity to see comes great responsibility. When you become a diver, you must bring your own life support. To spend time below the surface you not only need high-quality, dependable diving equipment, but also the skills and knowledge necessary to use that equipment. As a diver you will analyze your performance levels and physical condition, and develop an awareness of your responses to the underwater environment.
